Conversations in Silence: Mindful Nature Walk
This event brought chapter members to come in on a bright and early Sunday morning, and walk through the Botanic Gardens, Visitor Centre, Tanglin Gate!
The session started with a quick warmup, breathing practices to calm the mind and context setting by Manish Arneja followed by a silent guided walk, during which our members got a chance to reflect and introspect while enjoying the sights and sounds of the woodland. Everyone walked at their own pace, but also instinctively looked out for each other and kept together as a pack. At the end of the session, the group got back together and we heard feedback from a number of members on their observations and learnings. Members got the chance to – be in the present moment , introspect and connect with nature at deeper levels. The walk was followed by a short meditation exercise by Bitasta Roy Mehta.
